About Way to the Edge
Welcome
My name is Jozef Krajnak, I’m from a small town on the eastern side of Slovakia and I’m behind the Way to the Edge travel blog.
Why I started Way to the Edge travel blog
Before this blog happened, I traveled extensively for more than 10 years and visited over 70 countries. Most of them were off the beaten path destinations or the way I have traveled was unique and/or alternative.
Over the years I have received many emails with questions, so one day I decided to share my knowledge and experience with the world in this form.
What does Way to the Edge mean?
My first travel blog was called www.nakrajsveta.sk. The blog was about travel, written in Slovak, my native language. The name could be freely translated as “to the edge of the world”, which was literally the aim of the blog. Also, world “kraj” in Slovak language means edge, which is also a part of my surname – Kraj-nak
The blog “Way to the Edge” aims to describe and give an idea of how to travel and live to your full potential, whether we are talking about alternative ways of living or traveling. It’s focused on off-the-beaten-path destinations and alternative ways of looking at many life situations, which are usually at the edge – at your limits
How you can help Way to the Edge?
At the moment, Way to the Edge is a non-profit blog, my personal project that takes a lot of my time to develop and maintain. I do everything myself, from the technical part to writing content.
If you feel you want to help, contribute or support me financially, you can do so. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
